Terms of Use

These are the plain-language terms for using Plorp. Apple's standard licence also applies to every App Store app, and these terms sit alongside it. Nothing here takes away the consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

Last updated: 5 July 2026. Provided by Didstopia.

1. Acceptance

Plorp ("the app") is made and provided by Didstopia, an independent app studio based in Finland ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Plorp, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You can reach us any time at support@plorp.app.

2. Apple's licence agreement

Plorp is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These Terms supplement that agreement. If anything here conflicts with Apple's licence on the scope of your licence to use the app, Apple's licence agreement governs that point.

3. Your licence to use Plorp

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use Plorp on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in line with Apple's App Store Usage Rules. This is a licence to use the app, not a sale of the app itself. You may not redistribute it.

4. Ads and in-app purchases

Plorp is free to download and play, supported by ads. It shows sparing interstitial ads between games and optional, player-initiated rewarded ads, served through Google AdMob. How ads work, and the consent and tracking choices you control, are described in our Privacy Policy.

Plorp offers one optional, one-time in-app purchase, "Remove Ads", which permanently removes the interstitial ads. It is a non-consumable purchase you can restore on your devices that use the same Apple Account, with Family Sharing supported. The price is always shown to you before you buy.

All purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We do not receive your payment details and we are not able to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and follow the steps. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, your statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content where it applies, are handled through Apple's refund process and are not affected by these Terms. If something has gone wrong, tell us as well and we will do our best to help.

5. Game Center

Plorp uses Apple's Game Center for optional leaderboards and achievements. Signing in is optional and you can play the entire game without it. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy; your Game Center identity and scores are handled by Apple, not by Didstopia.

6. Acceptable use

Please use Plorp as intended. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where the law expressly permits it, not to work around or tamper with the ads, the in-app purchase, or the Remove Ads unlock, and not to copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content.

7. Intellectual property

Plorp, including its name, artwork, design, sounds, and content, is owned by Didstopia and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Your licence does not transfer any ownership to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plorp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence, including your statutory rights regarding digital content that does not conform to what was agreed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Plorp. We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intent or gross negligence, and we do not limit your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version here. Continuing to use Plorp after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection given to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under that law.

12. Apple as third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. Your agreement for the app is with us, not with Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content to the extent the law requires.
